PLEASE NOTE - DO NOT BRING ANY LIVE AMMUNITION INTO THE CLASSROOM!!!!

What do I need to Bring?

You will need to bring the following to class:

• Safety glasses for shooting
  
• Hearing Protection (either a pair or two of the foam type that fit in your ears or a set of ear protection earmuffs)
• The pistol you plan on taking the class with (we have only a couple of pistols to borrow if you do not have one, and must make arrangements with us before class)
• 50-100 rounds of proper ammunition for the gun you plan on using (if you have made pre-arrangements with us to borrow one - please make note of the type that you will be borrowing.)

Suggestion - if you have never shot a pistol before, we recommend bringing a .22 caliber pistol.  It has less recoil, and will help you get more comfortable with shooting a pistol.

Also know you are allowed to bring your own snacks and drinks (non-alcohol, of course) to the class if you so desire.

What are the Age Requirements?

To have an Ohio Concealed Carry License you must be at least 21 years of age.  We allow anyone over 18 to take the class. If you are under 21, you will  receive a certificate of completion.  However, you cannot apply for your Ohio CCW permit until you are 21.  Your certificate of completion is good for 5 years.
